1970 New York Knicks World Championship Ring (Salesman's Sample • BBHoF LOA)

This size 10.5, 10K gold salesman’s sample ring weighs 35 grams. The top panel reads “NEW YORK KNICKS - WORLD CHAMPIONS” in relief surrounding nine round-cut diamonds; total diamond weight is approximately .28-carats. The right panel features a banner that is blank above the casted image of an “NBA” logo with five extended arms. The left panel reads “KNICKS” in relief above the casted image of a basketball that reads “18 STRAIGHT” and “1970” in relief below. The inside of the ring is stamped “BALFOUR 10K” and has been engraved with the serial number “SA-91201-8”. This ring’s design differs from the final design used for the 1970 World Champion New York Knicks. The ring is in EX-NM condition.
