The check has been filled out by famed American author and journalist, Ernest Hemingway. The “Ernest M. Hemingway” signature along with the date, amount, recipient are penned in black fountain ink and in our opinion, the signature rates an 8. Cancellation holes are present and partially intersect with the “t”, “M”, and “He” of the signature. Several bank stamps are present and one intersects with the “Ern” of the signature. The check is endorsed by Roberto Herrera Sotolongo, personal secretary and friend of Hemingway. Measures 6-½” x 2-¾”, EX condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
