Steel fish hook attached to a 4-½” x 3-½” printed card, tagged “From the ZANE GREY Fishing Tackle Collection”. Zane Grey, author of many popular adventure novels, once held numerous records for deep sea fishing. The hook is accompanied by a LOA from Brian J. McGrath, editor of Fishing Collectible Magazine that states that he bought this fish hook from George Chamberlain on January 15, 1991. Chamberlain purchased this tackle along with a number of original manuscripts and documents from a family member of Romer Grey, the eldest son of Zane Grey. The hook and the original printed card are in EX condition.
