Reach OAL Harridge baseball signed by 31 members of the World Champion 1932 New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Babe Ruth (ss), Lou Gehrig, Joe McCarthy, Bill Dickey, Joe Sewell (2x), Herb Pennock and Chas “Red” Ruffing. Additional signatures include Art Jorgens, Ed Wells (2x), Lefty Weinert, Cy Perkins (coach), John Allen, Sam Byrd, Myril Hoag, Art Fletcher (coach), Dusty Cooke, Johnny Murphy, Frankie Crosetti, Dusty Cooke, Eddie “Doc” Farrell, Ivy Paul Andrews, Jimmy Burke (coach), Earle Combs, Ben Chapman, George W. Pipgras. The ball was presumably signed during spring training for the 1932 season as the signature for Jesse Hill, a minor leaguer with the Yankees Double-A affiliate Newark Bears, is present. Hill did not make the Yankees until 1935. “1932” is written to the left of the stamp, penned in an unknown hand. The signatures are done in black fountain ink and in our opinion rate a 6-7 overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
