Yogi Berra was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. As a player, coach and manager, Berra appeared in an astounding 21 World Series, winning 13 of them. He won three AL MVPs and was voted to the MLB All-Century Team. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a tag that reads “SET 1 1988”. Below is a strip tag that reads “8 88 44 1”. Across the chest reads “Astros” and the team’s star logo is below. Berra’s No. 8 appears on the back. These are done in the same navy blue on white tackle twill. Across the back reads coach name “BERRA” in navy blue tackle twill sewn onto an off-white nameplate. On the right sleeve reads “Rawlings”. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coach-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
