Manuf: Old Hickory. Model Number: J143. Labeling Period: 2012. Length: 33.5 in. weight: 31.7 oz. Wood: Maple. Finish: Black/natural. Condition: Uncracked. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left, front and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the right, left and back barrel. The lower handle and top of the knob have been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the upper and lower handle. The mark visible in the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per MLB, for all maple bats since January 2009. Trout’s number “27” is written on the knob in black marker. The length, “33.5” is stamped into the front barrel. It features a cupped end. The bat exhibits evidence of heavy use and possesses identifiable player use characteristics. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat a GU 9.
