Bill McKechnie was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. His managerial record was an incredibly lengthy 1896-1723. He won three World Series championships. Inside the hat is a “PARTRIDGE’S ATHLETIC GOODS” manufacturer’s tag. Inside the hat below the rear sweat band is a white felt strip tag with “McKechnie” in red chain stitching. On the front is a blue felt on yellow felt “B” logo. This hat is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn by McKechnie while managing the Boston Bees and in our opinion, shows good wear. The cap is in magnificent condition.
