Joe Glenn caught Babe Ruth during his last pitching game and also caught Ted Williams in Williams' only pitching appearance. On the inside below the rear collar is a “SPALDING” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent embroidered in red chain-stitching is the player name, “Glenn”. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK”. The player number “12” appears on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in the same navy blue felt lettering sewn directly onto the grey flannel jersey. On the inside of the rear waistline is a “SPALDING” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent embroidered in red chain-stitching is the player name, “Glenn”. The longer sleeves indicate it’s early 1930s. The year is no longer present in the back tail. “NEW YORK” across the chest is restored while the player number “12” is original. Baseballreference.com does not have Glenn wearing No. 12. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
