Extremely scarce Detroit Tigers two-year style home flannel jersey dating from either the 1923 or 1924 season. White pinstriped jersey, which predates the use of uniform numbers. On the inside below the rear collar is a 1919-1924 “THOS E. WILSON & CO.” manufacturer’s tag. On the left chest is the team’s “D” logo in black felt. This jersey exhibits an extended sun collar trimmed in matching black felt. The front left tail has the remaining outline of player ID "Brady" which is no longer present. On September 14, 1923, Brady’s contract was sold to the Tigers, but Brady broke his leg in an exhibition game. Brady went to spring training with the Tigers in 1924. This jersey comes with an additional LOA grading it an A8.5. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. An incredibly rare, all original two year style from the Cobb era Detroit Tigers.
