Lou Brock was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985 on the first ballot. The six-time All-Star is a two-time World Series champion and is second all-time in stolen bases only behind Rickey Henderson. Brock’s No. 20 is retired by the St. Louis Cardinals. On the inside of the front right tail is a “Rawlings” size ‘42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1977”. Across the chest reads, “Cardinals” with the team’s logo of two cardinals sitting on a bat done in yellow, navy blue and red chain-stitching. Player number “20” appears on the front and on the back of the jersey. Across the back reads the player name, “BROCK”. These are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the baby blue jersey. Brock signed the jersey below the v-neck in black marker and in our opinion rates an 8 overall. The tail has been cut short and trimmed straight across from the factory, a trait of many Brock gamers. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
