The two-time World Series champion is a member of the New York Mets Hall of Fame. He is credited for coining the most popular phrase among Mets’ fans, “Ya Gotta Believe!”. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the inside of the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “45 44 72” embroidered on it. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK”. Player number “45” appears on the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in the same blue on orange tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the left sleeve is a “Mets” team logo disc patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
