Darryl Strawberry won the NL Rookie of the Year in 1983, batting .257 with 26 home runs and 74 RBI. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a “SET 1 1982” flag tag. This jersey was made in 1982 and was then worn in 1983. Across the front reads, “Mets”. Player number “18” appears on the front and on the back. Across the back reads the player name, “STRAWBERRY” on a grey nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in the same blue on orange tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
