Andre Dawson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010. The eight-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glove Award winner was the NL MVP in 1977. His NL totals of 409 home runs and 962 extra base hits both ranked 10th in league history. He is one of eight MLB players with at least 300 home runs and 300 stolen bases during his career. Inside the rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Inside the right tail is a tag that reads, “SET 1 1981”, which is common for Expos shirts of the era. On the left chest is a “M” Montreal logo in red, white and blue tackle twill. Below reads, “expos”. On the right chest and on the back is player number “10”. Across the back above the player number reads player name “DAWSON”. These are all done in the same red tackle twill sewn directly onto the baby blue jersey. Dawson signed the jersey in black pen above the player number “10” on the right chest, and in our opinion rates an 8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
