On the inside of the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a “SET 1 1992” flag tag. Across the front reads, “MARINERS” in blue on yellow on blue triple tackle twill. Coach number “30” appears on the front and on the back. Across the back reads coach name, “GRIFFEY” on a white nameplate. These are done in the same blue tackle twill numbering and lettering. Griffey Sr. signed in between the player name and player number in heavily-faded blue marker and in our opinion, rates a 5 overall. Griffey Sr. was hired as hitting coach following the 1992 season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn by Griffey Sr. as a coach and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
