Nolan Ryan was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 on the first ballot. Ryan was named to the MLB All-Century Team and holds the MLB records for strikeouts and no-hitters thrown. His No. 34 is retired by the Houston Astros. Inside on the rear sweatband is a “New Era PRO MODEL” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a size “7 1/8” tag and an official “MLB” tag. On the underside of the brim is the player number “34” written in black marker. On the front is the team’s “H” logo embroidered in white stitching with a star embroidered in orange stitching behind it. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and attributed to Nolan Ryan and in our opinion shows use.
