On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Embroidered below reads, “No. 43 Set 1-61”. On the left chest is the team’s “A” logo. On the back and on the left sleeve is the player number “29”. These are done in navy blue on red tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe flannel jersey. This shirt was originally numbered “43”. There’s what appears to be a team instituted number change on the back and sleeve, which is “29”. The number “29” belonged to Kirk, who only played one game in his major league career on 9/23/1961. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
