On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Below reads the player name “Fairly” and “66” in blue chain-stitching. Below is a tag with washing instructions with a “SET 1 1966” flag tag attached. Across the chest reads, “Los Angeles”, which has been restored. On the back is the player number “31”. These are done in blue felt lettering sewn directly onto the grey flannel jersey. The player number “31” also appears on the front in red felt lettering sewn directly onto the grey flannel jersey. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as team-issued. The name “Fairey” in the tail indicates it was Jim Fairey’s jersey, who was a 1969 call up. For the 1966 season, Jim Campanis wore the number “31” in his one plate appearance during the season.
