The team was established in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots, an expansion team of the American League. After only one season, the team relocated to Milwaukee, becoming known as the Brewers. On the front left tail is a “SPALDING” manufacturer’s tag with a size “44” flag tag. Below is a tag with washing instructions with a flag tag attached that reads, “SET 1 #8P 1970”. Above these, “Twitchell 70” is embroidered directly onto the jersey in green chain-stitching. Across the chest reads, “BREWERS”. On the back is the player number “48”. These are both done in yellow on blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the blue jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to use as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Magnificent all original condition.
