Warren Spahn was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. The 17-time All-Star won one World Series championship and won the Cy Young Award in 1957. His No. 21 is retired by the Atlanta Braves. On 6/11/1961, Spahn hit a three-run home run off of Don Elston in the 9th inning to earn his 295th career win. “SPALDING” manufactured ONL baseball with one panel inscribed, “No. 295 CHICAGO - 4 MILWAUKEE - 8 JUNE-11-61 THREE RUN HOMER”. The baseball is in VG condition. Two navy blue stirrup socks with red and white alternate stripes. On each sock is a blue felt swatch with the player number “21” embroidered on it. Inside on the rear sweatband is a “TIM McAULIFFE INC.” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a size “6 7/4” stamp and a “PRO KM CAP” stamp. The player number “21” is written on the underside of the brim in pen. On the front of the cap is the team’s “M” logo embroidered in white stitching. These items are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion show use.
