Manuf: Original Maple Bat Co., Model: 2K1, Length: 34 in., Weight: 33.3 oz., Wood: Maple, Labeling Period: 2001, Condition: Uncracked. Bonds has signed the barrel of the bat in silver marker and, in our opinion, the signature rates a strong 9. Adjacent below is an inscription that reads “9-20-01 #558” written in gold marker. “34 31.8oz - 08 20 01 - 2K1 - BB” is written on the cupped barrel end in pen. Ball and hit marks are present on the right, left, back and front barrel/ Blue ball transfer marks are present on the back barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The handle is taped in a spiral “X” pattern, it measures approximately 13”. The bat exhibits evidence of moderate use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA GU10. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature. The bat has been photomatched to the September 20, 2001 game where Bonds hit the 558th home run of his career.
