The player number “4” is written on the knob in black marker and the barrel end in white marker. The knob has been stamped with player initials “LD”, “3 ½” and the model number “WC42”. The bat is game-ready and does not exhibit evidence of use. Grote– Manuf: H&B, Model: S2, Length: 34 in., Weight: 31.5 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1973-75, Condition: Uncracked. The knob has been blacked out with marker, it has also stamped with the model number “S2” and “™”. An “X” has been written on the barrel end in black marker. Grote has signed the lower barrel to the left of the stamp along with the added inscription, “To Jeff, Good Luck Aways”. The signature is done in black marker and, in our opinion, rates a 5. The bat exhibits evidence of moderate use. Staub– Manuf: Worth, Model: W227, Length: 34 in., Weight: 34.4 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: Circa 1986-88, Condition: Uncracked. The knob has been stamped with the player initials “RS”, “4” and the model number “W227”. The bat is game-ready and does not exhibit evidence of use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
