Manuf: H&B, Model: H238, Length: 35 in., Weight: 32.3 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1987-89, Condition: Uncracked, checking on the front and back barrel. Smith has signed the barrel along with the added inscription, “Good Luck, Best Wishes”. The signature is done in blue marker and, in our opinion, rates a 9. The player number “1” is written on the knob in black marker. Ball and hit marks are present on the right, left and back barrel. Black ball transfer marks are present on the right, left and back barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the mid-handle. The bat exhibits evidence of moderate to heavy use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading it an 8.5. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
