Early 1960s Casey Stengel New York Mets Equipment Bag (Trainer LOA)

Blue New York Mets equipment bag that belonged to Casey Stengel. On the bottom of one side of the bag reads, “JOE DEER” in black marker. Deer was the Assistant Trainer of the New York Mets from 1964-78. This bag is accompanied by an LOA from Deer that states Stengel left this bag behind following his retirement, where it was then used by Deer. The bag has a “Mets” team logo on each side. Good condition.
