In 1958, Bob Turley led the American League in wins with 21 and earned the Cy Young award. This baseball shows a lot of wear to the point where the manufacturer’s stamp is barely visible. The inscription on the baseball reads, “Hit Home Run MAY 9th 1959 Washington”. Bob Turley got the hit off Bud Brenly in the 8th inning, one of just four home runs Turley hit in his 12-year career.
