This size 11, 10k gold salesman’s sample ring weighs 36 grams. This ring’s design is virtually identical to the rings presented to the Mets players and executives in 1969, but is made of 10k gold instead of 14k. The top panel reads “NEW YORK METS WORLD CHAMPIONS 1969” surrounding a synthetic diamond atop a blue synthetic stone. The left panel features a banner that displays the player number “30”, player name “RYAN” and position “P”. Adjacent below is the casted image of the Mets team logo, two bats and a baseball cap. The right panel features a banner that reads, “EASTERN DIVISION - NATIONAL LEAGUE - WORLD SERIES” above the casted image of Shea Stadium and a crown that reads “METS VS. ORIOLES”. The inside of the ring is stamped “10K” along with the Jostens logo. It has been engraved with the serial number “S3592-100”. The ring is in EX-NM condition.
