Muhammad Ali is one of those once in a generation athletes that transcends time. Along with being one of boxing’s greats, Ali used his status to attack pressing social issues. On the tongue of each shoe is a black “adidas” logo. Green shoes with black trim. Original laces included. “M. Ali” is embroidered on the side of each shoe. The outside ankle area has a green crescent moon shaped design. This design is missing on the right-footed shoe and only the outline can be seen. Angelo Dundee signed each shoe in blue marker. The right-footed shoe has the added inscription, “Ali Training Shoes”. In our opinion, the signatures rate an 8 overall. These shoes are properly tagged, were presented to us as training worn and in our opinion show appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from Angelo Dundee stating these shoes were worn by Muhammad Ali when training for the Joe Bugner fight in Malaysia. Ali won the relatively easy 15-round decision.
