Accompanied by an LOA from David Rosenstein, the son of Sidney Rosenstein who is a movie studio employee and collector. His collection includes items that have been used or own by John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe and others. The LOA states Rosenstein acquired the items in the late 1960s from his friend Inez Melson, who was Monroe’s business manager at the time of her death. Inez told Rosenstein that this necklace and earring set was give to Monroe by Joe DiMaggio while they were dating. “It was one of her most treasured possessions and she wore it often.”.
