They say youth shall be served, and in the case of Kobe Bryant the servings are the sort of money and adulation that normally comes only with paying some dues. At a mere 22, Bryant is already an NBA superstar. At 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, he can do just about anything on the court, and has been since he jumped right from Lower Merion (Pennsylvania) High School in 1996 to become the league's youngest-ever player, at 18 years, 5 months and 5 days, for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was also the youngest to play in an All-Star Game and since becoming a full-time starter three years ago, he's won an NBA title and this season vied for the league's scoring title, averaging around 30 points per game. This gold, purple and white Lakers home warmup jacket was worn by Bryant during his second pro season. It has the "Nike" label with the size "XL" and "Length +2" next to the "NBA Authentics" label. The Lakers logo is on the left breast and the "NBA" logo on the right breast. The name "Bryant" is stitched on in purple capital letters with white borders across the back and there are purple and white stripes at the shoulders and at the edges of the sleeves and the bottom edge of the jacket. The jacket shows game-use and appears to have no other alterations of any kind and comes with a letter of authenticity.
