The Warriors have a proud history that dates back to 1947 when the then-Philadelphia Warriors won the first NBA title. In the early 1960s the team moved to the Bay Area and was known as the San Francisco Warriors. This Warrior team warm-up jacket was the style worn by the team through the 1970s, during which time all-time greats like Wilt Chamberlain, Nate Thurmond and Rick Barry wore the team's blue and gold colors. In 1974, the Warriors won the league crown in a four-game sweep over the Baltimore Bullets. The size-44, cotton-nylon jacket has a "Wilson" label inside the neck. A patch with "Warriors" is stitched in gold script-style lettering on the left breast over another patch with a gold headdress logo, while on the back is a sewn-on logo depicting the state of California with a star in the Bay Area, and the words "Golden State Warriors" in gold capital letters. The jacket shows wear.
