This size 12, 14k gold coaches ring weighs 49 grams. It was presented to running backs coach Sherman Smith after the Titans were crowned Champions of the AFC in 1999. The top panel reads “TITANS A.F.C. CHAMPIONS”. The face is adorned with 37 round-cut diamonds, the Titans logo is enameled in the team colors inside a gold football-shaped border. The ring has a total diamond weight of approximately .20-carats. The left panel features the coach’s name “SMITH” and the casted image of a Titans helmet enameled in the team colors and an oil derrick, an homage to the team’s beginning as the Houston Oilers. 1999 was the first season for team under the “Titans” name. Adjacent below is a banner that reads “LUV YA BLUE”, the name of the team’s fight song. The right panel reads “1999” in relief above a banner that reads, “TITANS 33-JAGS 14”, the casted image of the AFC Championship Trophy, the Super Bowl XXIV logo and a second banner that reads “LUV YA BLUE”. The inside of the ring is stamped “© 14K” along with the Josten’s “J” logo. The ring is in NRMT condition and is accompanied by the original wooden presentation box.
