“The Houdini of the Hardwood” Bob Cousy was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971. Cousy won six NBA championships with the Boston Celtics and was the league MVP in 1957. Cousy led the NBA in assists for eight consecutive seasons (1953-60) and was named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. His No. 14 is retired by the Boston Celtics. On the inside of the rear center tail is the number “6546” stamped in black. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with a size “44” flag tag attached. On each sleeve is a green on yellow satin team clover logo. Across the chest reads, “CELTICS” in green on yellow satin sewn directly onto the white fleece warm-up jacket. On the inside of the left side of the warm-up jacket is a pocket. On the back reads the player name, “COUSY” in yellow satin on a green satin nameplate that is buttoned to the jacket. This warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn by Cousy and in our opinion shows wear. This jacket was originally housed in a great Celtic collection for over 25 years and is in outstanding, original condition.
