Michael Jordan did everything but win a championship in the 1987-88 season. Jordan won his first regular season MVP, averaging 35 points per game (NBA scoring champion) in addition to 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 3.2 steals. Jordan won his lone Defensive Player of the Year award, leading the NBA in steals and adding 1.6 blocks per game. And don’t think Jordan didn’t do it in style—he was also the Slam Dunk Contest champion and was the All-Star Game MVP. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the CHICAGO BULLS”. Below is a second “Sand-Knit” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent are two white swatches that read “87” and “3”LB”. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. On the left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “BULLS” painted in red with a black paint trim. Player number “23” appears on the front and on the back in red on black vinyl lettering. Across the back reads player name “JORDAN” in red vinyl lettering applied directly to the white mesh jersey. The "NBA" logo is heavily faded and jersey exhibits a high-level of staining, presumably from sweat. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
