Manuf: H&B, Model: G105, Length: 36 in., Weight: 38.9 oz., Labeling Period: 1969, Wood: Ash, Condition: Cracked at the handle. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Green bat rack marks are visible in the right, left, back barrel and center brand. Cleat impressions can be seen on the right barrel and the left barrel has been scored. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the mid handle. The model number "G105" has been stamped into the knob. The bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA grading the bat a 9. According to the LOA, "Clemente's number (21) is written on the knob in red marker with a line going through it," and "A notable player characteristic displayed on the subject bat is the deeply scored left barrel. Barrel scoring has been cataloged in our database on several high graded Clemente game bats. The scoring was executed in an effort to replicate the face of a golf club and add bottom spin and lift to the baseball. In addition to the barrel scoring, the style of the player number (21) is often seen on game used bats of Roberto Clemente. The style has been logged in our PSA/DNA database on several Clemente game bats." Further accompanied by two additional LOAs.
