Plain, unmarked 34” half-bat with a 2-¼” x 1-½” brass plaque that has been engraved to read “GEORGE - CONGRATULATIONS ON 1ST A.L. WIN - DET 8 CAL 4 - JUNE 17, 1979”. A “3” is stamped into the knob. 34” H&B bat given to Sparky Anderson by Louisville Slugger to commemorate his 2,000th A.L. Win. The bat is stamped “Sparky Anderson - 2000th Win - April 15, 1993”. “Hot Iron Original” bat with “THE MAIN SPARK” GEORGE “SPARKY” ANDERSON - A WORLD CHAMPION MANAGER IN ANY LEAGUE” wood-burned into the barrel of the bat. Anderson’s image has also been wood-burned into the barrel. The “HIO” logo along with “1994” has been wood-burned into the knob. Accompanied by an Anderson family LOA.
