Running back John "Frenchy" Fuqua was a key member of the Pittsburgh Steelers dynasty that won back-to-back championships in the mid-1970s.. This fabulous ring was the reward for the second Super Bowl victory, the Steel Curtain's 21-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys on January 18, 1976. Fuqua's most celebrated moment came three seasons before in the AFC Division Championship Game against the Oakland Raiders. With the Steelers down 7-6 with 22 seconds left, Terry Bradshaw's fourth-down pass flew downfield. When it came down at the Raider 35, Fuqua, Raider safety Jack Tatum and the ball all arrived at once, and n the collision the ball squirted out and was scooped up by Franco who took the "Immaculate Reception" to paydirt for the winning score. In seven seasons, Fuqua rushed for 3,031 yards and caught passes for 1,247 yards. The 2.1K ring is 11 3/4 in size. Around the top of the ring are the engraved words "Pittsburgh Steelers 1975 World Champions." In the core are two large diamonds totaling approximately one carat on either side of a miniaturized Vince Lombardi Trophy. On the left shank is written "Super Bowl X" over a SB logo with the game's score. On the right shank is the name "Fuqua" and the Steelers logo. This gorgeous ring, which shows signs of wear, comes with a letter of authenticity from Fuqua.
