The 1953 Rose Bowl matched the Trojans of USC against the Badgers of Wisconsin. In a hard fought game USC edged Wisconsin 7-0. This watch was presented to running back Jim Sears of USC. It is a Lord Elgin watch, in working order, missing the short hand. The watch is 10K gold and has a Seidel expansion band. The back of the watch is engraved Jim Sears Rose Bowl USC vs Wis. 1953. The watch is in very good condition and shows the expected wear of the past 48 years.
