Alex English established himself as one of basketball’s most respected, well-rounded and dominating players earning him a Hall of Fame induction in 1997. English was an offensive force and was the NBA’s leading scorer throughout the 1980s. He is also the Denver Nuggets all-time leading scorer. On the front left tail of the jersey is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent above is another partially detached “Sand-Knit” tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the DENVER NUGGETS”. Adjacent to the left are two white strip tags, one reading the year “87” and the other reading “2”LB” both in black chain-stitching. On the right inseam is the “100% NYLON” tag with wash instructions. On the inside left tail is a “J.T. Roberts” hologram sticker with serial number “0267”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “2”. Across the front reads “nuggets”. All are done in white with blue trim on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “ENGLISH” in yellow tackle twill on a blue mesh nameplate. English has signed the “2” on the back of the jersey in black marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 7. On the inner rear waistband of the shorts is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “34”. Adjacent to the left is another “Sand-Knit” tag reading “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for DENVER NUGGETS”. Adjacent to the left is a white strip tag with the player number “2” written in black marker. Adjacent to the left is another white strip tag with the year “89” in black chain-stitching. On the left leg is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. The right leg reads “Denver” embroidered in white, blue and yellow. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
