This jersey was worn by future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan in the 2003 NBA Finals where the Spurs defeated the New Jersey Nets in six games for the franchise’s second Championship. Duncan was named Finals MVP as he averaged an astounding 24.2 points, 17 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 5.3 blocks per game in the series. Duncan has led the Spurs to six NBA Finals appearances to date, winning five of them. On the front left tail is the “NIKE” manufacturer’s tag with size “54” and a flag tag “LENGTH +4”. Adjacent to the left is the official “Spurs” logo tag and to the right is the “NBA AUTHENTICS” tag. On the left inseam are two tags, one with the wash instructions and another with the year “2002-03”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in red, white and blue. On the right chest is the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy patch embroidered in black and gold. Across the front reads “SPURS” in white and black on silver tackle twill with the “U” as a “Spurs” logo in black on silver tackle twill. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “21” in the same white and black on silver tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DUNCAN” in white tackle twill. Duncan has signed the “2” on the back of the jersey in black marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 6. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
