“SPALDING” manufactured basketball. Stamped on the ball is “OFFICIAL SIZE AND WEIGHT NBA” and “Endorsed By The NBA” with the commissioner David Stern’s facsimile signature. On the “S” in Spalding is a JSA sticker with serial number “X52029”. The ball has been signed by 18 members of the 1995-96 Los Angeles Lakers all in black marker. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Magic Johnson and Jerry West who was the Lakers General Manager at the time. Additional signatures include: George Lynch, Cedric Ceballos, Elden Campbell, Sedale Threatt, Frankie King, Anthony Miller, Eddie Jones, Corie Blount, Nick Van Exel and Vlade Divac. The coaching staff have also signed the ball including Head Coach Del Harris and Assistant Coaches Kurt Rambis, Bill Burtka and Michael Cooper. In our opinion the signatures rate a 7.5 overall. The ball holds air. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from the Los Angeles Lakers.
