Darryl Palmer played college football in the Southwest Conference at Texas Christian University in the mid 1940s. In 1946 nas a senior, Palmer played on the college football All-Star Team that defeated the defending NFL Champions, LA Rams 16-0. This college All-Star blue durene jersey was worn by Darryl Palmer during the 1946 All-Star Game. On the inside of the crotch piece is the "May & Halas" label and adjacent is the size tag, "46". The player number "54" appears on both the front and back of the jersey in white tackle twill. There are ten red felt "stars" on both shoulders. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
