Approximately 24 ¾” x 28 ½” framed James Naismith's copy of the original rules of basketball, an autographed cut and a black and white photo. The black and bronze plaque reads “James Naismith - “INVENTOR OF BASKETBALL””. At the top is a color copy of the original rules of basketball and reads “First draft of Basket Ball rules. Hang in the gym that the boys might learn the rules - Dec 1891” at the bottom with Naismith’s signature. An 8” x 10” black and white photo of Naismith appears on the bottom left. Naismith has signed a cut in pencil, in our opinion the signature rates a near perfect 10. The framed piece is in EX overall condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
