The ghosts of Walter Camp, Pop Warner, Frankie Albert and Bones Hamilton come with this circa 1940 Stanford University football helmet. The crack on the left front and the various markings of head-on collisions may make you reach for smelling salts as you relive the days when men were men and facemasks were nonexistent. The "Wilson" name is on the front of the faded yellow helmet. On the back is the size "7", "Made in the USA,"the logo "RP" and the serial number "F2020." The inside passing is still in good condition, showing only minor age damage.
