On the back of the helmet is the “MacGregor” manufacturer’s sticker with size “7 ½”. Adjacent to the right is another “MacGregor” sticker with model “100MH”. On the inside above each ear hole is the player number “29” in black and blue marker. “Riddell” manufactured grey facemask. No chinstrap is present. The “NY JETS” logo appears on the left and right sides of the helmet in hunter green and white. Joe Namath has signed the top of the helmet in black marker with the added inscriptions “X12” and “Hey Lou I love ya pal! Stay well”, in our opinion the large signature rates a 9. The helmet is properly labeled, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use with scuffing on the outer dome, as well as some transfer marks and gashes. Accompanied by a LOA by JSA for the signature and an additional LOA from Lou Piccone.
