Lyle Alzado made an immediate impact in his rookie season for the Broncos. Playing in place of an injured defensive end, Alzado went on to make several all-rookie teams as he contributed 60 tackles and 8 sacks. On the front left tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “50”. Across the front, on the back and on the left and right sleeves is the player number “77” in white tackle twill with Bronco blue trim. Across the back is the player name “ALZADO” in white tackle twill on an orange restored nameplate. There are a few repairs on the shoulders as well as numerous repairs around the nameplate. This jersey was manufactured prior to 1971 and was a carryover. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
