This jersey was worn by wide receiver Wes Welker during an October 19, 2014 game where the Denver Broncos defeated the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 42-17. Welker had three receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Welker's touchdown reception came on a 39-yard pass thrown by Peyton Manning in the first quarter; it was the 508th touchdown pass thrown by Manning which tied Brett Favre’s historical all-time mark. Manning later surpassed Favre’s record with an 8-yard strike to Demaryius Thomas late in the second quarter. On the inner rear collar is the “Nike” manufacturer’s tag with flag tag “2014”. On the left inseam is the remnants of the wash instructions tag that has been cut off. On the v-neck is the official “NFL” logo rubberized in red, white and blue. Adjacent below is “BRONCOS” embroidered in white. Across the front, on back and on top of both shoulders is the player number “83” in white tackle twill with bronco orange trim. On each sleeve is the Nike “Swoosh” logo embroidered in white. Across the back is the player name “WELKER” in white tackle twill on a broncos navy mesh nameplate. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from Broncos equipment manager Chris Valenti and an additional LOA.
