Enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, Moon held several all-time passing records when he retired. “Riddell” manufactured “VS-4” helmet. Adjacent above and to the left of the left ear hole reads “MOON 1” in purple Dymo tape. Adjacent to the right of the right ear hole is a large piece of velcro. Adjacent above each ear hole is a warning label. Purple “SCHUTT” manufactured facemask with code “DIJ”. A “Riddell” chinstrap is present. The hard plastic bumper reads “Riddell” in red. The backplate of the helmet reads “VIKINGS” in purple. Adjacent above is the official “NFL” shield decal along with a heavily washed away warning decal. The Vikings “Horn” logo appears on the left and right sides of the helmet in gold and white. The helmet is properly labeled, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
