The yellow top and black bottom one-piece spandex-type Time Trial Skinsuit is manufactured by Nike and has a white nylon zipper down the front. On the inner rear collar is a manufacturer’s tag with the size "M-3-48" on it. On the front, back, sides, front legs and seat of the suit is the "UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE" logo in blue, white and red. Adjacent below on the front and back is “Thomas Weisel Partners” in black and “TREK” in red. On the right chest and on both sleeves is the Nike “Swoosh" logo. Also on the right chest is the official "02 LE TOUR DE FRANCE" logo. Both are done in black. On the left chest and on the sides is "CREDIT LYONNAIS" in blue. The "Credit Lyonnais" logo in blue also appears on both sleeves and on the left and right collar. On the front legs and on the left and right seat is the Nike “Swoosh" logo in white. The crotch and seat of the suit are reinforced with padding. Inside the lower back is a sewn-in pocket that held the radio during the race. The suit shows excellent signs of wear with light sweat stains around neckline and chest. There are small pin holes where the rider number was held in place.
