This Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Award stands approximately 13-5/8” tall with a black and white stone base that measures 4” x 4” x 2-¾”. It was presented to Melvin Franklin, founding member of The Temptations and one of just two members to remain with the group for their entire 34-year lifespan. The figure’s arms are extended holding a gold-colored disc that measures 2-½” across. A plaque on the front of the base reads “The Temptations - MELVIN FRANKLIN - ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME - 1989”. The underside of the statuette features felt backing which is a fully present. The iconic award is in MINT condition.
