In 1972, the Miami Dolphins recorded a perfect 17-0 season to become the only undefeated team in NFL history. The Dolphins came back the next year with another outstanding season and their second straight Super Bowl victory. This Wilson Official NFL football was used during the Dolphins' 31-3 victory over the Jets. It is autographed by Bill Stanfill, defensive end for the Dolphins. This game ball was awarded to Stanfill for his five sacks in the game. Printed in white on one of the panels is "10-7-73, Dolphins-Jets, 31-3, 5 Sacks". Stanfill's black Sharpie signature rates a near 9. The ball comes with a letter of authenticity from Stanfill.
