Emmy Award winner Alan Alda screen-worn bathrobe from the hit American television series "M*A*S*H*" where Alda plays Captain Benjamin “Hawkeye” Pierce. Pierce along with other members are part of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital care for the injured during the Korean War. Pierce and his team use humor in order to escape from the horror and depression of the entire situation. The purple robe is sans manufacturing tagging. On the left front pocket is “U.S.A.” embroidered in white. Just below the inner rear collar is reads “Hawkeye” in faded black ink. Numerous repairs and fabric wear appear throughout the robe due to heavy production use. The robe was worn in numerous episodes. The robe was presented to us as screen-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by Profiles in History documentation.
